Join us for a fun and informative night of short films, food, drink and discussions. In acknowledgement of the International Day of Peasants’ Struggles we will be showing a series of short films about Bangladesh, climate change and the important work that many people in Bangladesh are doing.
We are raising funds for the ‘Sponsor an Activist’ training program, for rural women and youth to train as grassroots organisers in Dhaka. So far we have raised $3300 out of our total goal of $23,650! Help us to inch towards this massive goal by supporting us at our event on this evening.
There will be free food and drinks by donation on the night, as well as lots of goodies to buy such as postcards, t-shirts, gamchas, and dvds.
Speakers include Pathak Lal Golder – active BKF member
